The slogan of Kani Consultants is Helping Words Matter and that’s what drives us in all that we do, write, edit and publish.
Helping – the projects we involve ourselves in are to help someone now or in the future to enjoy reading and writing more. We help plan local events; we volunteer at festivals; and we help schools and community groups. The Kani Kids’ Competitions (starting in November) are aimed at helping children write and illustrate – and to see themselves published.
Helping Words – we choose to involve ourselves with activities and words that are encouraging, inspiring and useful. The Life’s Toolbox anthologies (currently open for submissions) have an underlying theme of helping readers through the life’s stories of others.
Helping Words Matter – we offer tips and activities to help others see the importance of words in their lives. We edit and participate in editing groups and training to help writers improve their writing.
