Welcome back!
Some of you have been wondering where our online presence went. Here, we just refer to it as “a learning experience”.
It is exciting to be back, though, with a brand new website thanks to Olga. We also have a social media presence again thanks to Erin. And, neither would be possible without support from Jess.
This website is still a work in progress. It will take a while to get up to date with everything that’s going on and available to you. In the meanwhile, please feel free to tell us what you want to see on here.
Some of the ideas that are in progress are:
- Calendar of events: book releases, tours, launches, readings
- Submissions open: opportunities to see your story, poem or illustrations in print – books being written, competitions, anthologies being created (do you know about the three that are open at the moment?)
- Submissions open: editing and publishing opportunities
- Quarterly email and online newsletter – tell us if you think it should be distributed monthly
- Monthly Motivations: for authors and readers
- Children’s page – activities for kids to do (Sshhh: (sneak peak): there’s also a filming involvement opportunity next year)
- Author biographies and interviews – read more about the authors that appear in our books
